Before you order

Pricing

Prices are in US dollars and exclude delivery. Sales tax, where it applies, is calculated at checkout. The price per piece reduces with quantity, from 2 to 100 pieces per design. For orders over 100 pieces, please contact support@lovesilk.com for a custom quote.

Sampling

A finished sample is optional and allows you to review the silk, print, color, scale and finish before production.

Color approval

Color on silk can differ slightly from what you see on screen. For an important brand or signature color, we can prepare color variations on silk for approval before production. Color matching is available for a small additional charge.

Production

Production begins once your artwork and production details are approved. Please allow approximately 4–5 weeks for production.

Delivery

Your scarves are shipped to you by DHL Express with tracking, duties paid, so there is nothing to pay on delivery. Delivery times vary by location and are estimated once your order is ready to ship.

A closer look

Finishes and silks compared

Hand-rolled hem
  • Rolled and finished individually by hand, with small stitches securing the edge.
  • A traditional scarf finish with a soft, rounded character.
  • Subtle variations along the edge are a natural characteristic of hand finishing.
  • An allowance of approximately 0.6 in (1.5 cm) on each side is used to create the hand roll, so plan your border with this in mind.
Machine hem
  • A flat, narrow hem secured with a single straight row of stitching.
  • Clean, straight and consistent.
  • Particularly well suited to geometric borders and designs requiring precise edge alignment.
  • Slightly faster and simpler to produce.
  • Approximately 0.4 in (1 cm) on each side is used for the hem, so the finished scarf is about 0.4 in (1 cm) larger than with a hand-rolled hem.
Pink floral silk twill, 14 momme, gathered in soft folds
Silk twill
  • The classic silk scarf cloth, with a fine diagonal rib.
  • Smooth and softly lustrous, with crisp detail and strong color.
  • Balanced between structure and drape, with enough body to hold a fold or a knot.
Pink floral silk Crêpe de Chine with a soft, matte surface
Crêpe de Chine
  • A subtly textured, matte surface.
  • Softer and more fluid, with a graceful drape.
  • Particularly beautiful for scarves worn around the neck, shoulders or hair.
Pink floral silk satin, 16 momme, with a deeper sheen and more body
Silk satin
  • A smooth, high-luster face with a softer matte reverse.
  • The most fluid drape of our silks, with deep, bright color.
  • Printed on both sides, like every silk we offer.
